Little Theaters came out of a recording session from 1984/5 at Classic Sound, New York City. Recorded live to 2 track analog and engineered by Michael MacDonald, it was lost then found, a little worse for wear, in a box at Michael’s mastering studio, AlgoRhythms, Santa Fe, NM in 2022. Michael has worked his magic to master and restore the original. Given some deterioration due to age and recorded with now antiquated technology, Little Theaters presents here as a rough cut gem, a moment in time with four of the most extraordinary musicians I have had the honor to join with. Heartfelt thanks to Michael MacDonald and a wave across time to Fred, Marc, Joey, and to my dear friend Kenny, gone but ever close to my heart.
